One of my favourite songs is Merry Go Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi. (Who is a genius by the way.) I wish it would play automatically when I’m sad... It’s an instrumental, but in order for a feeling like this to happen it doesn’t have to be a certain genre. Do you ever get chills down your spine, or frisson while listening to a song? That is particularly caused by dopamine being released!! The chemical that makes you feel pleasure, or happiness. That little chill down your spine when you listen to a beautiful song is it making you chemically happy! Weird.
