Im sure you all think the music i listen to (see etc. tab) is odd. And to that i say, i cant help what i like. So what if you listen to pop and i folk rock. Neither are Bad Things.

I feel the need to inform you about lo-fi though. Lo-fi (low fidelity) is a genre of music. A very small one. It basically means that the music you listen to is lower quality, or, i quote, "is lower quality of sound recordings than the usual standard for music."

"Why is that a thing?" I hear you cry. "Why would someone listen and make music that's low quality on purpose?"

                                                                                  I have no idea.

I do know, however, the genre is brilliant. The first lo-fi band i listened to before i even knew lo-fi was a thing was The Unicorns. It was used in a ftp game i was playing. (Pen Palz. Play it.) And through that i delved into the world of lo-fi. It is a colourful world filled with broken cassette tapes and CDs, and it sounds like the crackle of a record disc and falling trees.
Although my whole heart is to the Unicorns, I have a fondness for Guided By Voices because they have a (very small) folk sound (sometimes) as well as lo-fi ascetics. Its absolutely perfect. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
